A Walk to Remember

The story begins when Landon Carter and his friends intend to approve Clay Gephardt as new member of their group. But he got an accident. Landon was chassed by the police and punished by the school principal because he found some beers in his locker. The principal made him clean the school, help with tutorial on weekends and participate in the spring theater show allof this just to make up for his punishment that he has done.

Landon got the lead role in the theater show with Jamie Sullivan she was the reverends daughter, but she just had few friends the upopular girl that belong to the church choir that loved to watch the stars with her telescope that she made while she was 12 years old.

Landon had a big issue with the play so he turns to Jamie asking for help with the script, she accepts making him promise that he can’t fall in love with her and he accept.

she told landon that she had a list of the goals for her life like make friendship with someone who she doesn’t like, join in the peace brigade, make a medical discovery, get a tattoo, be in two places at once, but she never mentioned the number one goal that was to get married in the same church that her parents did.. See Landon tried to have a secret friendship with Jamie for fear of what his friends would think about it because to him being the most popular guy then jamie not as popular as he is well jamie doesn’t accept that.

In the show he kissed her in front of the whole school (course it was not in the script). Then Belinda published a Photoshop of Jamie and distributes the photos of Jamie in the school then Landon comes to defended Jamie and he hit his best friend Dean.

Landon gave her his apologizes and invites her to dinner with the reverends permission. And it was acceptet in the date they had he fufilled one of her goals, he put her in two places at once and put a temperarly tattoo on her, then Landon kissed her,but Jamie rejects with fear because Landon said that he loves her as she warned him not to fall in love with her, but they still date. Landon´s mother found a list with London’s goals and he told her that Jamie is the only one that had faith in him. Jamie had been keeping a secret from him, and she finally told him the truth, she had leukemia and she had her hours measured. Landon went to look for

his father who was cardiologist but he can’t help her due to her situation being so severe.

One day Jamie fell unexpectedly and went to the hospital. There Jamie gave Landon a book that had belong to her mother with her favorites phrases and together they Jamie´s favorite:” love is always patient and kind, never jealous, never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, never offends or is vindictive”.

Few days past and Landon worked night and day to build a telescope for Jamie ,and watch a comet go by , this night they were dancing in the balcony and he asked to her to marry him.They spent a summer together with most perfect love that not many people knew in all of their lives and then she went with her faith.

After 4 years he returns in to the town and gave the book to Jamie´s Father,but landon appologized because he belives that Jamie never witness her miracle and he said “yes, she did, it was you”.

Jamie Saved his life she taught him everything about life, hope and the long way to go but their love is like the wind he can’t see it. But he feels

There are many reasons why chose this movie for my report. Its telling us a story , but at the same time its giving us a life lesson. I believe that at first the meaning it has is telling you dont under estimate anyone in life. Everybody is equal and no body is better than anybody. Its shows me that love is one of the most strongest emotions there is in this world. Loves takes you to places you didnt hing you could ever be at. Most of all this movie tell me. Hey!
