INTRODUCTION

In this essay I will try to explain the workings of the BLU-RAY the advantages and disadvantages of it, if is easy to use, how does it serve to us, which is its power consumption and whether it is advisable to purchase one.

BLU-RAY :

Shuji Nakamura invented it in 2006 (The Sony company launched it to the marketing) Even-though it was a project that came from long ago.

The Blu-ray disc holds a blue laser (hence the name "BLU-RAY", would handle the name "BLUE" but was not allowed.) Instead the DVD holds a red laser beam. The blue laser gives us a clearer picture is the high definition DVD BLU-RAY.

This and other technological advances, can store significantly more information than the DVD on a disc the same size and appearance, has been updated and also has the ability to play high definition, 3D, video stores and connects to internet.

Consumes 73 watts during playback, if we compare how much energy a laptop consumes 90 watts when idle only really counting all the energy you need for the backlight internet connection etc .... are 300 watts.

It is an electronic device difficult to use because it is just like using a single DVD with more performances and more technological advances.

Mainly used to play media is very efficient and easy to use, to get a clearer picture can connect a cable high definition "HD". Can be used on all TVs and has no drawbacks. It has USB input so you can play files that are not on DVD or are stored in the same BLU-RAY.

In short, the BLU-RAY is a user-friendly electronic appliance that consumes little power and plays all kinds of media (movies music photos videos etc ....).

The parts of the BLU-RAY are:

The Blu-ray has (in the front) a tray for CDs to be played, a counter that tells you how to progress the film or video playback, it also has buttons (play, stop, ignition and open the tray.) for manual use a USB input. (In the back) cable connection for audio playback and image connection for high-definition cable is not sold with the team, one input to connect a laptop and more to the internet.

Before BLU-RAY were the VCR and DVD.

The VCR cassettes reproduced by occupying a "video tape" containing a removable tape to play back audio and film or video. The first VCR was invented in 1956.
