Summary

In the present investigation was developed through intervention with students in 5th year of Elementary School Diego Olvera Estrada in where it seeks to observe how e-books in comparison of the use of traditional books favor the significant learning of the content as well as awakening the students the capacity to research.

In order to carry out this research in the first instance was sought which were the needs of students, as well as know that elements was attractive to increase the pleasure with the subjects they were taught. From the foregoing, it was designed a didactic tool, which consist in an e-book containing the same contents of the book provided by the Secretariat of Public Education, but in turn include additional content type audiovisual.

Already designed this were made relevant evidence where experimentation is based in two groups to which we applied a diagnostic test with the intention to measure the degree of knowledge of the subject and in turn would serve as a reference for the final comparatives which would be presented.

Continuing with the experimentation is continued to the explanation of the subject, in which the group was again subdivided with the intention that the “A” segment to have access to the tool while the “B” segment acquired the knowledge of traditional form. Having been applied the tool, they concluded that students who are exposed to the use of the tool have a better acquisition of knowledge as the additional content of the e-book encourages its research capacity and strengthen their learning.
