Mansión histórica Bantry, en el condado de Cork, Irlanda

Bantry House is a historic mansion with gardens in Bantry, County Cork, Ireland. The mansion is owned by the family White, Earls of Bantry from 1739.Alrededor in the year 1700 began the construction of the mansion on the South side of Bantry Bay, called originally Blackrock. In 1750 Richard White bought the mansion to Samuel Hutchinson changing the name to Seafield. The White family settled initially in the Whiddysituadas Islands in the Bay being from Limerick's where were traders. The family prospered and acquired numerous lands in the area. In the 1780's the mansion Bantry was 320 km. The North facade was later added to the set. In 1946 it was opened to the public and offers hotel since the beginning of the 1990s.

The gardens were designed by the second Earl of Bantry and his wife Mary. They were inspired by his travels throughout Europe. The gardens contain feels terraces in total being town house on the third terrace. The famous staircase of 100 steps (or stairway to heaven) is located behind the House from the Italian garden. The gardens include the Italian garden, inspired by a trip to Italy and more specifically in the gardens of Boboli in Florence. This garden has a central pond with a fountain made gives about 1850. Another garden is known as the rose garden, planted in the 18th century.

Impressive drawbridge built in 1894. The Tower Bridge, English Tower Bridge, is a drawbridge located in London that crosses the River Thames. It is situated near the Tower of London, which gives it its name. Sometimes it is mistakenly called London Bridge, which is the next bridge located upstream. The bridge is maintained by the Bridge House Estates, a company non-profit under the tutelage of Corporation of London. Its construction was finished in the year 1894, after eight years of work. This bridge was born as a response to public pressure for the construction of a new bridge for vehicular and pedestrian traffic because of a high population density, claiming to communicate with other sectors within the same city. During the second part of the 19th century, the economic development in East London, led to the need for a new step over the river more down London Bridge. The traditional fixed bridge could not be built since it would cut access to the harbour which at the time were in the Pool of London, between London Bridge and the Tower of London. A tunnel under the Thames, Tower Subway was opened in 1870, but was only used for pedestrian traffic.

Over 50 designs were proposed, including one of Sir Joseph Bazalgette. Evaluation of the designs was surrounded by controversy, and it was not until 1884 when the one created by Horace Jones, the city architect, was approved. The design of Jones was a drawbridge of 244 m in length, with two towers
