BIOGRAFIA NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Los new kids on the block son una  banda de chicos formado en Boston, Massachusetts en el año 1984 por el productor Maurice Starr, la banda de chicos está integrada por los hermanos Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg y Danny Wood.

 Los new kids on the block son los pioneros de las banda de chicos, de pop, rock, hip-hop y R&B. Siendo esta  banda la más emblemática en su rubro, los cuales fueron nominados  al American Music Award al Mejor Pop / Rock.

 En los noventa el grupo era bastante conocido. En junio lanzaron un álbum titulado paso a paso que rápidamente alcanzó el número uno en popularidad. En ese mismo año hicieron 250 conciertos y uno se convirtió en un concierto de clase mundial llamado la gira mágica de verano. La popularidad de la banda fue tal que sobrepasaron las 100.000 personas en su club de fans y recibieron más de 30.000 cartas al día. En 1991 estuvieron sobreexpuestos a una reacción del público, que decidió darle un respiro a la banda y  es por eso que en ese año no sacaron ninguna canción, ni discos

 Se mantuvieron activos desde finales de los años 1980 hasta principios de los años 1990 y en su segunda etapa desde 2008 hasta el día, de hoy siendo una de las mejores bandas en su época.

The new kids on the block are a boy band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1984 by producer Maurice Starr, the boy band is made up of brothers Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood.

 The new kids on the block are the pioneers of boy bands, pop, rock, hip-hop and R&B. Being this band the most emblematic in its field, which were nominated for the American Music Award for Best Pop / Rock.

 In the nineties the group was quite well known. In June they released an album titled Step by Step which quickly reached number one in popularity. In that same year they did 250 concerts and one became a world-class concert called the Magic Summer Tour. The popularity of the band was such that they surpassed 100,000 people in their fan club and received more than 30,000 letters a day. In 1991 they were overexposed to a reaction from the public, who decided to give the band a break and that is why in that year they did not release any songs or albums.

 They remained active from the late 1980s to the early 1990s and in their second stage from 2008 to the present day, today being one of the best bands of their time.
