Strengths:
-Farmacias del Ahorro have the 28% of market share in Mexico being one of the biggest chains of pharmaceuticals traders.
-It works with generic drugs or OTC (Over the Counter) medicine, and this kind of products represent an important business in the country.
Weaknesses:
-Other competitors offer the same products and services, and Farmacias del Ahorro has not created different services recently.
Opportunities:
-Farmacias del Ahorro is looking to be supplied directly from laboratories trying to depend less from the big distributors (as Nadro for example).
-since people need prescription to buy antibiotics, they better go to the Farmacia del Ahorro’s doctor service and get it, so it have increase its sales.
Threats:
-Its peers, because all the big pharmaceutical chains traders are in a constant battle to win market.
