There are several other branches of psychology which contribute to the industrial and organizational, this is one of the newest specialities which has been developing very fast and it is having a good impact to all psychology students and graduates, also it is a good choice for working before giving therapy with your own surgery, In my opinión , organizational psychology was formed from some other studies, and three of the most important branches which had an impact are consumer, clinical and social psychology.

Consumer psychology studies principally the needs, behavior, preferences of people from a specific culture or maybe to global products, but the main object of this branch is to make people buy and consume their products to make companies get higher , one example is coca-cola a very big company with a very specific propaganda which involves a lot of investigations and polls all around the world, to consider many factors to attract attention such as environment, mode other product competences, etc. and many other uses, for example: “Professionals in this field look at things like the decision making-process, social persuasion and motivation to help understand why shoppers buy some things but not others. “ (http://psychology.about.com/od/branchesofpsycholog1/a/consumer-psychology.htm)

Another important psychology branch is Clinical , maybe because it’s the main branch on psychology, it is important in organization because it helps on“ determining the nature, causes, and potential effects of personal distress; of personal, social, and work dysfunctions; and the psychological factors associated with physical, behavioral, emotional, nervous, and mental disorders. Examples of assessment procedures are interviews, behavioral assessments, and the administration and interpretation of tests of intellectual abilities, aptitudes, personal characteristics, and other aspects of human experience and behavior relative to disturbance.” (http://www.apa.org/divisions/div12/aboutcp.html).

Social psychology principally studies human behavior, but is mainly focus on observation of acts, movements of body parts, look, and how people interact with other inside a group or a culture, depending on the country. “Societies and organizations consist of pattern behaviors, and the behavior of each individual is determined to a considerable extent by requirements of the larger pattern” (http://sites.idc.ac.il/dice/files/activity2.pdf). For organizations the study of behvior is such important as study about money and administration, because as a company the organization need to have a good organization , coordination and a good comunication.
