Bullying

Bullying is a kind of aggression made to other people because of their behavior, likings, religion or just for pure pleasure of the aggressor.

Bullying has always been practiced in many scopes like communities but the most common one is the scholar environment in which a student or various students hurt physically and emotionally one person or more.

This problem is growing every day. Now, even coaches bully young athletes or there is this new “siblings bullying”. Bullying is also used to attract people to criminal organizations by pressuring them with threats and insults.

Bullying has been causing several consequences in the victims since always like a strong depression and suicidal thoughts removing self-esteem and confidence. The consequences can last many years and the person will never be the same. The victim avoids asking for help because is afraid of what could happen and starts isolating from the rest of people ending up with a rough life.

The case of Amanda Todd is very known. She was a teenager who suffered bullying by her classmates because of something wrong she did in the past. She was being bullied by internet, in the school. She said “I’m thinking about moving on so this won’t happen again” but no matter where she went people always recognized her then she reached a point in which she couldn’t stand it and she killed herself. She had been suffering anxiety attacks and her parents were completely worried. “we’re trying to help her but she doesn’t tell us what happens”

But the aggressors also have their problems; they have to put up with rough families or just not very pretty lives so they go and retaliate with any person. They are always being rude and harmful. Both aggressor and victim have to be under attention.

An advice for the victim can be: don’t be silent, ask for help or you’ll regret it, it can help a lot. These people have always had problems with that but they don’t know how helpful it is. In the case of the aggressor or “bully” they need to be asked about what were they doing a year ago to find out when did the bully behavior started. Bullying is something that has to be taken into account as a serious problem of this century.
