ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF INTERNET

The internet is a very useful tool and very common in homes. The internet has come a long way, has become the most revolutionary technological tool because it allows and facilitates the development of things.

It is important that everyone has access to the Internet because it gives us as soon as possible the information we want from our topics of interest and world events. This useful tool will facilitate communication and contact with people from other countries, in order to improve our way of life.

Such networks are accessible to all. Today there are millions of people who take advantage of the benefits offered, but many of them only make use of this network to hurt, steal and kidnap others.

We have to take advantage that the internet gives us a world of possibilities to enhance the communication between people and generate new knowledge for our lives.

In a survey conducted by the National Institute of statistics and geography, reported that Internet users showed a 20.6 aumneto over 2009. In an age range of12-34 years are the ones most used Internet service with a share of 66.8 percent. Survey identified between the various uses that given to the computer: school work (53.4 %), with communication related activities (44 %), entertainment (37.9 %), and work (32.2 %).

Some of the reasons why access the Internet are:

The first reason is that the internet gives us the benefit of being able to communicate using voice, video and text, offering various programs for example, MSN, messenger, yahoo, Skype, facebook, Google talk ,among others; with these

programs we can talk and see each other with our friends, families from different cities, countries or anywhere in the world, also serve to meet people from other places making interpersonal relationships or running the risk of being a victim of kidnapping, extortion, etc.

The second, the internet provides us with the development of school or work activities, for example, when we leave work, homework or resort to different websites that we find valuable information, helping to build new knowledge and skills, but in other cases the information is not valid, allowing poor performance because the fact of "copy and paste" the people do not analyze, or read what they have consulted.

The third, the internet gives us entertainment based on our interests for example, video games, videos, music and books, thanks to them we often forget the problems and help us to leave a little boredom.
