CAMILA and SEBASTIAN: Good morning Ladies and gentlemen.
CAMILA: Welcome to our voyage through Literature and History.
SEBASTIAN: This voyage is going to be guided by our marvelous students from 8th to 3 bachillerato.
CAMILA: Before it begins we have to mention:
SEBASTIAN: Relationship between Literature and History is very close , as both need each other.
CAMILA: History has shown that requires Literature in the time it is needed to write about an event , collect documents and explain facts .
SEBASTIAN: Thus , we can find historical novels (but of course we have to know how to se DaVinci´s Code).
CAMILA: Literature also needs History because it requires topics for his writings, not only for novels, but also poems, Speeches , etc.
SEBASTIAN: Every good writer should have historical knowledge, at least a little, about the topic being described in his or her writings.
CAMILA: As you can see , the border is very small, and often difficult to perceive.
SEBASTIAN: You can not consider authors as isolated beings in the world in which they live .
CAMILA: Therefore , the authors write what is directly related to the historical context of the work.
SEBASTIAN: An example is La Divina comedia written by Dante Alighieri, which explains the medieval culture from the perspective of a studied author.
CAMILA: Boccaccio 's Decameron a book that describe the story of a group of young people during the Black Plague.
SEBASTIAN: So let´s begin with the journey with…
