The capital of the Antofagasta Region is the city of Antofagasta, also called " La perla del norte". Antofagasta according to the last census of 2017 is the fifth most populous city in the country, its total population is 388,545 inhabitants and its area is 30,718 km2.

The best known city of the second region is the commune of Antofagasta, because in addition to being the regional capital it has tourist destinations such as the hand of the desert and the Ruins of Huanchaca. The city of Antofagasta also has beautiful beaches and cultural spaces for all tastes. In the Region of Antofagasta is located the commune of San Pedro de Atacama, its tourist attractions make it an infallible destination in the north of the country.

With its birth in 2014, Minera Escondida beats Chuquicamata in modernity, which has older equipments and facilities.

1. An ideal company should have life insurance for each of its employees, in this way, the company shows real concern for its human capital and gives assurance to its employees not to leave their families alone in the event of an unexpected tragedy.

2. Also, an ideal company should have rest rooms for its workers in case they feel stressed or the need to spend time off, this could lead to an increase in employee productivity and demonstrates on the part of the company the concern for the mental health of its workers.
