DO YOU WANT TO STUDY IN LONDON?

More people want to study in the other countries, sometimes those dreams are in darkness for different problems; they don´t have the money, the city is a hard place to live, the place where they study is far from them home…

I could tell you a thousand excuses, but, the first reason to desist is the fear; I would love to study in London, I have more reasons for it: the English culture, the English education, the activities out the study, the citizens, and why not? The English women are very pretty (even though Latinas are also very cute).

If wish us to study in London, and not die in the trying, we can use someone tips(some are very funny),

If you preoccupation is the money; YOU CAN WORK loafer! It´s joke, we can win scholarships or we try to work half-time and other ideas, the more important is we travel to London.

More seriously, we need to know:

- I need a Visa, Passport and more requirements, but, before all we know more about the United Kingdom.

DO YOU WANT TO KNOW THE UK?

UK territory geographically consists of the island of Great Britain, the northeast of the island of Ireland and many smaller islands: Wight, Man, Anglesey, Hebrides, Orkney, Shetland and small Channel Islands, also it´s front of the French peninsula Cotentin. Northern Ireland is the only part of the country with a land border, sharing it with the Republic of Ireland. Apart from this land border, is surrounded to the north by the Atlantic Ocean, on the east by the North Sea, to the south by the English Channel and to the west by the Irish Sea.

HOW IS THE UK?

Since Geography and climate Britain is traditionally divided into a mountainous area north and west and an area of low land south and east. An imaginary line drawn between the mouth of the River Exe, in the southwest, and the Tees, northeast, serves to express this division. The rivers are rather short, but its flow allows some browsing and have some economic importance.

The United Kingdom has a temperate oceanic climate with abundant rainfall throughout the year. The temperature varies with the seasons but seldom low -10 ° C or rises above 35 ° C. The prevailing wind is from the southwest and brings warm, moist weather from the Atlantic Ocean. The eastern part is more protected from the wind and therefore has a drier climate. Atlantic currents, warmed by the Gulf Stream make the winters are not as severe. Summers are warmest in the south-east of England and cooler as you move north.

from the political viewpoint the United Kingdom is a unitary state comprised of four constituent countries: Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland, and is governed by a parliamentary system with seat of government in London, but with three devolved national administrations in Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast, the capitals of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively.

In turn, it is a constitutional monarchy with Elizabeth II as head of state. The Crown Dependencies of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are not part of the country, but are integrated into a personal union with him. The UK has fourteen overseas territories, all remnants of what was an empire that extended about a quarter of the Earth's surface.

As to religion 71.6% of the population is Christian, mostly Anglican, although there are also Catholics, Presbyterians and Methodists. There is a 2.7% Muslim, 1% professing Hinduism, 1.6% of other faiths and beliefs 23.1% unspecified or none.

The currency in England is the pound sterling, as well as in the entire United Kingdom, crown dependencies and overseas territories (seems small right?), This is the symbol with which it is known (£) the pound is more expensive than the dollar because it by two dollars, you get a pound, if we were to buy in Colombian pesos would be something like that two thousand three hundred pesos.

WHY STUDY IN THE UK?

When we talk about the English education, we must consider that:

-Excellence in education UK has one of the best education systems in the world. Inhabitants of the country only equivalent to 1% of the world population, yet here take a 5% the investigation and 12% of published scientific papers. Much of this success is due to its ability to attract the best students from around the world.

- Cultural mix UK has a long tradition of welcoming international students. A lot of them are attracted each year by the high demand for English education and reputation of research in British universities. International students bring a rich cultural mix and the British campus when they return to their countries of origin are the best ambassadors of the United Kingdom.

The UK has the second largest international student diversity of countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). More than 70 students from British universities have 100 or more different countries and three universities with more than 150 countries represented among its students.

- International reputation Foreign graduate students enjoy a higher financial return from other countries. According to the OECD, persons licensed in the UK earn 59% more than those who have completed secondary education, well above the average of member countries of the organization. British graduates are also more likely to find work.

- Study and work One of the biggest attractions for international students is the opportunity to combine studies with a job in the UK. Students can apply for work visas post-studies ensuring that the country will remain attractive candidates for many years.

(Ok this is joke, we can find this characteristic in more countries that speak other idiom, the Latin governments are so crazy, but for these reasons is very beneficial studying abroad).
