(*) ¡Ojo! En inglés, el Simple Present Tense se suele utilizar para hablar de acciones habituales.
Ejemplos: Yo como todos los días a las 2pm. I have lunch at 2 o'clock everyday. Los miércoles voy al cine. I go to the cinema on Wednesdays. NO se utiliza para hablar de ahora como en español ¿Qué haces? Veo la tele. En este caso, utilizamos el Present Continuous. What are you doing? I'm watching TV.
(**) Present Perfect equivale al Pretérito Perfecto en español, pero ¡ojo! en inglés se considera un tiempo del presente no del pasado, por eso se llama "Present Perfect". Se utiliza al hablar sobre algo que ha ocurrido en un pasado reciente y tiene consecuencias en el presente. Ejemplo: I have cut my finger- Me cortado el dedo. Veo el hilillo de sangre corriendo por el dedo porque acaba de ocurrir.
Present Perfect: también se puede traducir como "llevar + participio". Ejempo: Llevo leídas 30 páginas de este libro. I have read 30 pages of this book. Responde a "cuánto, cuántas o cuántas veces"
(***) Fíjate como la expresión "Llevo trabajando/viviendo/visitando" (verbo principal en gerundio) se traduce en inglés por "Present Perfect Continuous" (también es posible "Present Perfect"). "I have been working/living/visiting" Fíjate como responde a "desde cuándo o cuánto tiempo hace que..."
