The Problems of Smoking Cigarettes

Tobacco causes the majority of cancer deaths in USA. In 2011 there are approximately 44 millions of people around the world, between 25 and 44 years ingesting nicotine and carbon monoxide. The majority of them started smoking in school or high school stages, increasing the risk died by cancer or some disease associate to smoking. There are three main reasons why people should not to smoke.

Smoking is the principal cause of lung, larynx and mouth cancer. This cancer is one of the most serious and frequent in men and women. Some symptoms are: problems to breathe, bloody cough and losing weight. Treatments are removed part or all lung, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Some of them become dependent oxygen.

Another diseases that present this people are cardiovascular problems. The smoking is the main responsible of all coronary cardiopathies. Due to this, people can develop arteriosclerosis, blood problems and cerebrovascular diseases. The systems affected are: heart, carotid, brain arteries and inferior extremities.

The tobacco can damage the health of the female reproductive system and affect babies too. Furthermore, the use of tobacco is associated with reduced fertility and an increased risk of spontaneous abortion, premature delivery and stillbirth. Also, it is a cause that babies present low birth weight. Similarly, smoking has been associated with an increased risk of birth defects and sudden infant death syndrome.

For all those reasons, people should refuse to smoking. Today, we're more aware about how bad smoking is for our health. Smoking is restricted or banned in almost all public places. For live a long and healthy life, we should say no to smoking.
