WHY DO TEENAGERS FOLLOWEDDIFFETENR CULTS THAT ARE AGAINST OUR CULTURE SUCH AS: EMOS GOTHIC. ETC

All the humans have to cross for some stages since to be a baby, after the childhood in which we grow and begin to develop and when we reach the 10 years we begin the adolescence. There are two kinds of adolescences, first early adolescence or puberty it is when a person is about 10 to 12 years and the second the late adolescence it is when a person is about 13 to 18 or 19 years old. In both of them a person has a lot of changes both physical and psychological and this stage is located between the childhood and the adulthood.

Physically some women’s changes are breast growth, widening of the hips, appearance of the first menstruation, etc. And in the men some changes are shoulders widening, increasing the height, first ejaculation and others. But in the adolescence there are a lot of physiological changes too. This is the stage where a person defines his personality. Most of the teenagers are very rebellious, fools, fighter and are always on the defensive. But it happens because they are crossing for a lot of hormone changes.

In the adolescence a person is interested in people of the opposite sex, they fall in love, have disappointments, get some friends and go out a lot because they don’t like stay on home because for them it is very boring, those are the typical teenager’s problems but there are also bad behaviors like running away, school dropout, free time misused, and pregnancies, isolation depression, suicides, aggressive behavior or bipolarity. There are not only teenagers’ problems, there are also social problems.

Since many years ago there are groups of people with the same customs, lifestyle, manner of thinking and manner of dress called urban tribes like emos, punk, hipsters, freaky, indie, etc . Nowadays there are a lot of them a characteristic of them is that most of the people who are involve are teenagers and young the propose of an urban tribe is to together people who share the same interests.

Most of the teenagers were part of an urban tribe and there are a lot of reasons, as I said before a teenage is a stage where a person searches his own personality and his identity. On that stage they fell very misunderstood by their parents and all their family, so they feel that their feelings are accepted only by their friends. They feel much rejected by most of people like family, teachers, old people, etc, so they search somebody to understand, accept and listen to them. And that is why they begin to enter to a urban tribe, because in those they find people similar that they and they find a kind of second family because everybody there defend and protect one another. And they finally can feel that they are in a very good home.

Most of those teenager have a dysfunctional home and they wanted a escape on their home they see fights between their parents, the parents can work a lot and they don´t share enough time together, so they can’t have love on their home. But there are also teenager who go to those urban tribes because they are very rebellious and they think that there is nobody who can control them or say them what they can do or not. They only want to rebel against their parents because they think that they disturb them a lot but parent always have the best to their child. If a teenager is rebellious is because the genes or the changed of the hormones.

There are also other facts for instance: If a person had to pass for some things on his childhood like parents’ divorce, or some thing difficult. Another aspect that we have to consider is that some people fallow some group or enter in a urban tribe because when their parents were young they did it, so they are following their example, and also for the friends’ influence. And in my opinion a lot of teenagers only go to a urban tribe because they only wanted to follow and to be fashion or only because a friend is in a urban tribe, they wanted to have experience and they feel very curious on that stage so they do this kind of thing.

Since my point of view we don’t have to eliminate them, the solutions aren’t eliminating those groups of people. Nowadays there is a lot of discrimination to them, they feel misunderstood by the society because the most of rest of the people think that they are crazy, they are sick, they are bad people but they don’t thing that they are only people they have different likes, and they aren’t bad. There are a lot of bad people around the world but not everybody of them is part of an urban tribe.

I am not part of an urban tribe but I respect them as to anyone, they are similar than, they also wearing different or listening to another music but no more. And I think that everybody has to treat them like they deserve, because everybody deserve respect they aren’t inferior to us. And if there are bad people in a urban tribe is because they feel excluded from the society, so if we want to change that we must accept
