DAY ONE[pic 2]

Dinner at Lava Lounge! Enjoy a wonderful dinner with a local flair at Lava Lounge, La Fortuna’s most popular restaurant. Chief Scott Bradley has created a menu that blends local ingredients with a international scope, giving you a truly unique dining experience. See why tourists and locals alike come to this casual, lively restaurant for delicious food and drinks, live music, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere! Your meal will include ceviche, a delicious entre, glass of wine and a wonderfully sweet dessert. After dinner, you’ll see why no trip to La Fortuna is completing without this magical dining experience!

DAY TWO [pic 3]

AM: Hanging Bridges

Love nature? This is an ideal tour for those who wish to experience the different sights, sounds, and experiences of the rainforest, all from a bird’s-eye view.  We will pick you up at your hotel in 8:00 A.M. in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan and take you on the 30-minute drive through the beautiful La Fortuna countryside to the hanging bridges, where a gentle 2-mile hike awaits. With a little luck, you’ll be able to see some of the three varieties of monkeys, tropical birds, reptiles, and other animals that call Arenal home.

P.M.: Arenal Waterfall

Enjoy a breathtaking trip to the majestic Arenal Waterfall. This impressive, and easily accessible, waterfall pours some 65m (200ft) down a sheer, volcanic gray cliff face, perpetually bathed in mists and carpeted in abundant and exotic vegetation. You’ll have a chance to see the butterflies, birds, and animals that make Costa Rica famous. The hike features several exquisite views, many with observation decks so you can get the perfect picture.

The descent from the parking lot to the jungle floor isn’t a long or difficult hike; it’s about 20 minutes down, and generally a bit longer climbing back  up. Sturdy hiking shoes are recommended, and so is a camera to preserve the memories! After the hike, your minivan will be ready to pick you up and return you to your hotel around 4:00 pm.

DAY THREE:

Sky Trek and Tram

Get ready for an adventure in the clouds. This quintessential Costa Rican adventure features a ride up the highest point of the Arenal reserve, taking you up to the highest mountain in the area, the cable car will offer amazing views, while a guide point out local flora and fauna. Once at the top, you can stay and relax, then descend through a series of adventurous cables onto sturdy steel platforms. The tour includes 8 cables with distances up to 2460 feet and a maximum height of 660 feet.[pic 5]
