3.1.1-130: Quince and the crowd of actors are in the forest, where they are going to practice. They start planning solutions for some flaws they have found in the play, like scaring ladies with the lion, and then begin to practice (they are not prepared). Robin sees them from a distance, and decides to stay and watch, and maybe act. He enters as a donkey and all of them run away, except Bottom who is in the woods. Quince confronts Robin and he tells the actor that he will chase them around. Bottom believes the other actors are just trying to scare him.

3.1.131-208: Bottom begins to sing, and wakes Titania up. She falls in love with him, and grants him four fairies to please him (Peaceblossom, Mustardseed, Cobweb, and Mote). At first when she approaches him, he is not impressed and wishes to leave the forest, but she won’t let him and asks the fairies to take him to her sleeping place. Bottom asks the fairies to introduce themselves.

3.2.1-42: Robin tells Oberon about Titania’s love for Bottom. He assures Oberon he did the job.

3.2.90-123: Oberon and Robin realize he has mistaken the Athenian man. Oberon sends Robin to get Helena and pours love potion into Demetrius’ eyes.

3.2.124-180: Helena comes in, chased by Lysander who is confessing his love to her. Demetrius’ awakens and falls in love with her too, so he starts to court her. She thinks this is all a mockery.

3.2.181-249: Lysander tells Hermia he hates her, and Helena is offended because she thinks Hermia is part of the mockery plan as well.

3.2.250-295: Lysander challenges Demetrius to a duel for Helena’s love. Hermia tries to convince Lysander to come with her but he insults her.

3.2.296-365: Hermia begins threatening Helena and both men defend her. Helena asks Hermia to let her go back to Athens and they all exit.

3.2.366-417: Robin is glad he did what he did. Oberon tells him to acts as Lysander for Demetrius and vice-versa, to get them away from each other and let them sleep. Then, he must pour liquid from a herb into Lysander’s eyes, which will turn him back to normal and beat the love potion. He, on the other hand, will go to Titania and beg for the boy.

3.2.418-493: Robin tricks Lysander and Demetrius so they sleep separately and applies the potion in Lysander’s eyes. Hermia and Helena also go to sleep separately.
