"After a torturous youth I found myself in this awful situation of being single and pregnant, at a very young age. With zero support and constant pressure from an overbearing parent to abort my child, I did just that.

That was 29 years ago and I still live the pain which resulted from that horrific decision to this day. (...) The abortion has been a controversial issue since many years ago. With a bad economy situation, a unstable relationship, a little age and then It is the right thing to do?, or not: am I going to be fine?, the common questions that the mothers have when they finds herself in that situation, and the final result? 70 thousand maternal deaths or a psychological trauma and a decision that they regret the rest of their lives.

People said that the murderers have to be in the prison, that it is horrible to kill someone, that it is attack to the human rights, but, are we talking about the same thing when we talk about abortion? As mother Teresa one says: “...the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a direct war, a direct killing - direct murder by the mother herself... because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between”.

Approximately 205 million pregnancies occur each year worldwide. Over a third are unintended and about a fifth end in induced abortion. How can we call this? How can we excuse this? He in Colombia, we have some times, when this killing is legal. For example: in a violation case, when the baby is with a terrible malformation or when the mother is in danger. People who are in favour of abortion take care of the hole family health, we who are against too, we think that it is blessing from God; for unite the family, for happiness, for fun, and a lot of other things.

And you my dear fellows will deny your own child the opportunity of lives? Will you lost all his or her smiles, laughs, I love mommy or daddy? If you cannot support, do the same as Juno, find someone else to take care of him or she, give someone else the opportunity of being happy.
