In the story "The Black Cat of Edgar Allan Poe", tells the story of a character ignoring his name, he has a passion or love for animals, being his last acquisition after marrying, a cat that I call Pluto, an animal for which he developed a great appreciation, but noted that after several years his temper and character had been radically altered by this animal, thought prompted by the superstition of his wife.

One day he decided to kill him, he held an ax in his hands, but his wife's hands stopped his trajectory towards the poor animal, but in a moment of extreme madness and rage he sank the ax into his head, killing his wife.
