PROBLEMA:
Una tienda de televisores tiene $ 300,000.00 en inventarios de televisores a color de 12 y 18 pulgadas. La utilidad en un televisor de 12 pulgadas es de 22%, en tanto que uno de 19 pulgadas es del 40%. Si la utilidad de todo el lote es de 35%, ¿Cuánto se invirtió en cada tipo de televisor?
- Resuelve el problema planteando una sola ecuación lineal.
ECUACIÓN LINEAL.
DATOS:
x= costo televisor de 12”
y= costo televisor de 19”
CT= costo total de inversión =300,000
U= utilidad total =35% de la CT[pic 1]
Ut= utilidad televisor 12” = 20%
UT= utilidad televisor 19” = 40%
OPERACIONES:
x + y = CT
x + y = 300,000
.22x + .40y = .35 (300,000)
.22x +.40y = 105,000
Despeje de “x”:
.22 (300,000 – y ) + .40y = 105,000
66,000 - .22y + .40y =105,000
-.22y + .40y =105,000 – 66,000
.18y = 39,000
y =39,000/.18
y = 216,666.67
Obtener “x” por sustitución con “y”:
.22x + .40(216,666.67) = 105,000
.22x + 86,666.67 = 105,000
.22x = 105,000 – 86,666.67
.22x = 18,333.33
x = 18,333.33/.22
x = 83,333.32
COSTO TOTAL DE INVERSIÓN DE TELEVISORES DE 12” = x
COSTO TOTAL DE INVERSIÓN DE TELEVISORES DE 19” = y
x = 83,333.32
y = 216,666.67
x + y = 300,000
