World, Life and Believes

What do people believe in? Religion is known as a “philosophy based on faith.” Religions nowadays play a very important role in everyone daily life. It is inevitable to go around the streets without knowing how religions work, why people do the things they do or even why they behave the way they do. Most of the people that surround the world believe in something and it is important to know more about each people believes. Even though there are differences between each religion they also have some similarities.

One similarity between Islam and Hinduism is what happens after death. Hinduism believes in reincarnation, that when someone dies depending on karma, the consequences of what they did in life will decide in what they will rebirth. Islam believes that there is only one life, after death every human being has to go through the Day of Judgment, it consists of judging ever action he or she made in life and decide according to god either if they are going to Heaven or if they are not. The similarity this two religions share is that they take to consideration the acts of people in their life in order to decide their future and even though in both have different destinations they choose that destinations with the acts made in life.

Christianity and Judaism also have similarities. These two religions are alike but not the same. As well what these two religions have in common is their Holy book (Sacred text). The Bible is divided into two parts the Old Testament and the New Testament while the Torah is divided into three parts. On the other side The Old testament found in the bible is written by Jewish prophets. In addition both of them show guidance for life.

Christianity has three different ways to call God: Holy Spirit, Father and Son while Islam has nineteen names to represent God. Even though they represent God as different concepts, adjectives or words they believe in the exact same “God”. The one who created the nature, people, and the world itself, the one who decides what to create and why and also the one who decides when the world is ending. They just represent him in other words.

As religions have things in common they also have differences. Such as Buddhism and Judaism, while Judaism only believes in one God who created everything and guides Jews in their life, Buddhism does not believe in God. They do not believe in a creator, therefor they believe in a supernatural being called Buddha from which they follow his writings such as Jews follow Gods writings but they do not refer to Buddha as their god.

The differences between Buddhist Creation and Christianity Creation determine too much about each Religion. Buddhists believe that the world was already created and that it would never be destroyed, thus they believe it is a cycle that has no start and no end. In the other hand Christianity believes that God created everything with a purpose and that he will end it whenever he thinks is right to.

Life after death between religions is one of the concepts that change the most. Judaism and Buddhism have a total different point of view to what happens after death. Buddhism believes in reincarnation based on karma. This means whatever actions you did in your life will decide in which form you will reincarnate, despite, this religion does believe people are going to have another life. Besides, Judaism believes there is only one life with no exceptions and people have no future after death, as well they believe the soul is lost.

People may think all religions are different that is why there are a lot of them. Tough there is no religion that does not has anything in common with another religion. This shows that believes May not be the same for everyone but somehow every religion is connected. People and Followers have to learn how to live respecting each other religions with their similarities, differences and importance to society.
