Hi there, let’s start with what you have to do to completely use INPA, DIS and SSS

1. Install the drivers for the blue cable, they are in folder called USB driver on the dvd named DIS, after that go to:

Control panel –> System –> Hardware –> Device Manager –> Ports –> Right click on your USB Serial Port and select Properties, follow the steps you see in the pictures:

2. You need to install Vmware 7 that you have on the DVD, the instructions for it’s installaion are in this document „Vmware Installation.doc”

3. Install INPA 5.0.2 that you have on the DVD, the instructions for it’s installation are in „INPA_5.0.2_Install.pdf”, if you want to have latest NCS Expert version, copy the content of the folder „NCSEXPER” from DVD and paste it into the same folder from C:\NCSEXPER

4. You will have to replace the files „Ediabas.ini” and „OBD.ini” from C:\EDIABAS\Bin with the files „Ediabas.ini” and „OBD.ini” that you have on the DVD

5. You will need to copy the files „OBD.ini” also in the C:\WINDOWS\system32

6. Place a shortcut on your desktop with the file „ifhsrv32.exe” that is located in C:\EDIABAS\Bin , you will just need to go in C:\EDIABAS\Bin right click on the file „ifhsrv32.exe” and select Create Shortcut.

7. You need copy „DiagHead.exe” on your desktop

8. After you click Poweron button in VmMware and DIS starts you must click on the Shortcut of ifhsrv32.exe that you placed it on the desktop in Step 6.

9. Last step is to open the „DiagHead.exe” that is place on your desktop and click on Run, you need to have the same 3 windows running in taskbar like in picture bellow:

11. If in DIS you don’t see 2 signal antenas in the up right corner that look the same and they look like in the picture bellow:

you must go in Administration -> Connection Setup and click on Connecting

(if you get an error 200.159 when you try to Diagnose a car it means you have a problem with the antivirus or the Firewall that is blocking the communication between the VMware LAN adapters, try do disable the Antivirus or Firewall and if persists you can uninstall and give it a try)
