Graphical Environment of PowerPoint:

A) DIFFERENT WAYS TO START A SESSION IN MICROSOFT POWERPOINT 2010.

To start a working session in PowerPoint 2010 you can do it in different ways, depending how office 2010 is configured in the computer. Procedure to start a session in PowerPoint:

START BUTTON

1) Click on the start button

2) Select the option All programs

3) Choose the option Microsoft Office

4) Click on Microsoft PowerPoint 2010

DESKTOP

1) Double click on the shortcut that is on the desktop

B) MAIN ELEMENTS OF THE SCREEN OF MICROSOFT POWERPOINT 2010 AND ITS GRAPHICAL ENVIRONMENT OF AN OPERATION.

1) File menu: Button that is used to display a menu, where you can open, save, print and some other options that you can apply to the presentation.

2) Quick Access Toolbar: It is the area where we can personalize the most used command buttons of PowerPoint.

3) Ribbon: It displays the different tabs, that contains groups and these contain buttons that are used to design the PowerPoint presentations

4) Slides and Outline: In this area there are two different ways to visualize the presentation, the outline view, which shows mainly the next that contains the slides and the slides view.

5) Status bar: In this bar is observed the slide that is active and the total of slides that composes the presentation, beside the different view buttons and the zoom button.

6) Area for the design of the slide: It’s the design area where the objects that will form the slides that conforms the presentation are introduced.

C) TYPES OF VIEW

The way to visualize the working area of the main screen of PowerPoint is the type of view.

a) Normal: You can observe the Design area of the slide where mainly all the elements and objects of the slide are manipulated.

b) Slide shorter: You can observe the slides in a miniature form

c) Notes page: You can observe each one of the slides in a particular form
