The Curriculum Planning subject plays an important role in the Curriculum map and the professional profile of the Applied Linguistics in English Career because it is studied right into the middle of the career where every single student has to go through in order to comply with all different academic and pedagogical requirements, which are mandatory for the students to know previous going on the next level, and finishing their studies.

In this subject, students will reach a high level based on Curriculum Planning principles to be used during the SECOND ACADEMIC PERIOD of this semester.  This level will be verified in the COLLABORATIVE WORK, which will make students to come up with a special 15-page TERM PAPER (final project) in which they will put into practice what they have learned and studied during the semester.  With this project, every single student will demonstrate his/her knowledge level of this subject because he/she will use of the information of this subject in order to come up with the term paper, which will have questions, doubts, theories, and practical facts which will demonstrate that students have applied correctly what they have learned in class.

The final project will specify the desired level that the Career wants to get with its students.  The way to measure the students´ level will be by means of using a RUBRICS which contains the different parameters to be observed and scored.

Also, it is important to mention that with the TERM PAPER students will demonstrate their level based on different values and variables that will help pupils to solve any problem introduced in this paper.  It is mandatory that students demonstrate their skill to use different virtual and electronic tool to have a better means of communication.

Moreover, with this FINAL PROJECT students will show their ability to log in to different DATA BASES found at ESPE web site, for instance EBESCO, GALE, and other scientific bases used as a reference for developing research.

It is mainly to say that with the COLLABORATIVE WORK students will show their ability to work as a team which will be organized in alphabetical order, no matter the place where the student is from.  This aspect is very necessary since students will learn how to get in touch with their friends from different Support Centres.

The TERM PAPER must have high academic standard levels which will demonstrate that students will be able to show their capacity for establishing strategic paths based on objectives and goals to be established by the coordinators and the members of the collaborative groups.

Besides, it is mainly to state that the TERM PAPER must be done based on ethical and moral aspects that have to be observed while carrying out this TERM PAPER, especially when citing or quoting other researchers´ words, phrases, works, and discoveries.  This issue must be applied when students will do their papers in order to avoid ethical problems like CHEATING, which is socially unacceptable, especially with the Applied Linguistics students, in this way OUR career, our university, and our society will be benefit and there will be any moral trouble at all.
