Part 1:

2. Open Level 4: Units 4 and 6.

3. Do these exercises:

Unit 4:

• Be supposed to; was/were going to

• Expressions with get

• Inseparable phrasal verbs

• Checking your understanding

• Becoming more social

Unit 6:

• The past perfect

• Superstitions

• Responses with so and neither

• Making your meaning clear

• A funny coincidence

You are to deliver to your teacher a screenshot (Print Screen) of each of your final results of each section of these exercises.

Part 2:

Also, in your book on page 64, do the exercises 4 B - Pair work; look at the superstitions on page 56. How might a superstitious person explain the events in the story? How many superstitions can you use? Discuss your ideas. Then write down at least 5 comments per participant, using the grammar and vocabulary from either of Units 7, 8, or 9 in this module. (Each one of you is to read to your teacher your contribution in class).

I’m not very superstitious.

Neither am I. I think that the superstitious only happens in the mind of the persons that believe in that thinks.

In my family some persons believe that it’s unlucky to spill salt. I do too because I see all my family try to don’t spill salt and if the throw will take a little salt and fanned over his shoulder to ward off bad luck.

I think it’s not very intelligent to be superstitious. So do I, because the persons begin to think that things will go wrong if this or that happens so don’t do not care or do anything that will scare or attract bad luck being that these things are just thinking of individuals.
