NOVELA PARA UNA HISTORIETA EN INGLÉS.

The arrival

Once upon a time five children moved from London to the countryside.

When they arrived they saw a beautiful white house with roses and plums.

They decided to explore the gardens.

The white house was on a hill and near was a gravel pit.

Beautiful as the day

One day they discovered that a fairy lived in the gravel pit.

While digging in the gravel pit the children thought they found a rat or a snake.

But it was something different. “Leave me alone”, it said. They all heard the voice and ordered the fairy to come out.

“Oh well if that is your wish” the voice said.

Something purple, furry and fat came rolling out into the hole. It´s eyes were long horns as in a snails eyes. It could move them as a telescope. It had bat´s ears, and it´s body was like a spider covered with thick soft fur. And it had hands and feet like a monkey.

Suddenly the fairy said “I can grant wishes” one of the boys said “I wish we were beautiful as the day”.

The fairy grant them their wish and they were as beautiful as the day.

They were all beautiful except the little boy. He felt asleep and was not beautiful.

They all went back home and Martha the baby sitter asked for his brothers. They said that it was them and she didn´t believe them and told them to leave or she would call the police. At sunset the beauty was gone. So they finally went home.

Golden coins

The next day the children went back to the place, except the youngest child. He spent the day with Martha the baby sitter. They asked the fairy for another wish. “We want to be rich”. The fairy made it´s skinny arms very long and waved them in a scary way with magical powers. Suddenly the children saw the treasure and decided to buy many things but people didn´t believe it was real gold. The magic money was easy to get, but impossible to spend. The police saw the children with so many golden coins and said “I will take them to jail for stealing and decided to arrest them.

When Martha arrived to jail by sunset the police explained to her but she didn´t believe them. The police said “I´ll show you look!”, but the golden coins were gone, so they went back home.

Our brother disappeared

The third day the children decided to make another wish. But this time they took their little brother with them, and he was talking and talking he couldn’t stay quiet. So one of his brother’s said I wish he could go away. Suddenly the fairy appeared and granted them their wish. They explained that wasn´t their wish but the fairy told them you said “I wish he could go away” so I granted your wish hahahahah! Good bye. So his brother disappeared and they were looking for him all day until sunset they returned home and there was their brother. We happiness they all hugged their brother. All the brothers called out for the fairy “fairy, fairy come out please!”, and suddenly the fairy appeared again and asked them what did they wanted. All the brothers told the fairy “we don´t want any wish anymore thank you for your kindness”. So the fairy told them “be careful what you wish for next time and good bye! Hahaha” and disappeared forever the boys lived happily ever after.
