POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

I start by saying that I didn’t arrive late to school but yes, I went to the classroom late, they gave me wrong the teacher's classroom it was Cri 2 and not Cri 1 and in typology didn’t give me reason for the teacher, just wait.  When I entered to the classroom the children were reading a text In English, about the routines, after finishing the text the teacher introduce myself with the children, I greet them and I gave my rules for the class, I made a diagnosis about their level in English, and what they know of the present simple, so I did competitions and they like it, I note that there are guys with a very good level in comparison with other schools, the course 801 of the school José Félix Restrepo has a good level, it is clear that not all have the same level, but if they showed great interest in participating, the classroom is organized by tables, each table has six or five student, that is to say that there are no rows and  for me it is good, I like it, in addition with this organization I can implement strategies always in group is what is inclined my project of degree: cooperative learning.

I knew all the students except a child with visual impairment, so the material I made in Braille did not use it since the child was not, the teacher told me that he usually misses class, always in class will be an undisciplined child. The children are accustomed to always being spoken in English and the teacher recommend me that this was always everything: in English.

They know how to use an English dictionary. They follow dictation in English. I’m really happy and surprise.

  • Not all has the same English level.
  • Some students lost the attention with their cellphones.
  • Lack of comprehension on topics already learnt
  • Some of them have difficulties with dictations.
  • They forget how spell a word in English.

  • Provide them exercises that involve previous topics and make comparisons between them.
  • Instill the question, many of them do not understand and are afraid or ask questions.
  • Put a penance to whoever uses the cell phone, penances such as explaining the subject of the class.
  • Dictate the instructions and review the alphabet. The dictation will always be done in the classes, but the a-b-c will not be in all classes, we review a small summary of it, but too small for them to tune their ears.
  • Bring conversations, audios in English so that everyone focuses on the audio and no other activities other than the class.
