 It was a cultural and intellectual movement that occurred in the eighteenth century and ended in the early years of the nineteenth century, this predominated in England, France and Germany

 Its main causes were to value human thought as a source of knowledge, giving rise to empiricism and rationalism.

 It gave a boost to scientific development and science and ended the absolutist monarchy

Although it emerged in England, it is in France where it is most important 

France was constituted in reference to the peoples with a monarchy that comes out as suppressor of a feudal order that undermined the political, social and economic bases 

French Revolution

 The French Revolution was a social conflict that confronted supporters and opponents of the Old Regime system, it began on May 5, 1789 and ended on November 9, 1799.

 The main causes were that the political situation was deteriorated since only the nobility could occupy political positions, there was an economic crisis since crops caused supply problems and droughts and frosts affected health.

 the old regime was coming to an end, one of the objectives was to have more rights and freedoms although it was a process that was taking place over the years this was the key point and the monarchy of Louis XVI ended up giving way to the coronation of Napoleon

US Independence

 It was a conflict that pitted the Thirteen Colonies against the Kingdom of Great Britain, which occurred between 1775 and 1781 with Great Britain's defeat at the Battle of Yorktown.

 The cause was the unfair treatment of Great Britain to the settlers since they kept a large part of the imports of the settlers, this gave the massacre of boston where the settlers demanded the elimination of taxes

 The consequences led to the establishment of a republican government and the creation of three independent powers (executive, legislative and judicial) rights such as freedom of expression, press and assembly and the beginning of an economic development that made possible the creation of an internal market
