Kidzania as a global Enterprise

Kidzania is a Mexican company that has grown by its original concept and idea. Kidzania is an innovative park that it’s a copy of a real city in a child size. The children from ages 2 to 14 years old play to be grown ups and while they play they learn about the value of money and work. They are around 120 activities to do in Kidzania, but like they don’t have enough time to do them all in just one visit, they need to come many times.

This innovative concept was open for the first time in 199 by the name of “La Ciudad de los Niños” in Mexico City, but to make it a global name they change it to Kidzania. The first year they expect to have 400,000 visitors and they doubled what they had expected, so they decided to open another Kidzania in Monterrey. Since Kidzania has a lot of success they have open many parks all around the world like in Asia, Europe and Latin America. They expect to open a lot more in the future. The sell of franchises of Kidzania has called the attention of many investors all around the world.

I believe that Kidzania as a great idea had a lot of success because there where never something like this before. What makes it a great park is that they have real national and international companies inside the park that sponsor Kidzania establishments like Coca Cola, Bancomer, Telmex, Pizza hot, Mr. sushi, Comex, DHL, Cheetos, etc. This little city also has its own economy, national anthem and mayor. It works because it’s an educative park too and because it’s well located. If parents want to spend some time in shopping or watch a grown-up movie they can leave their children in the park were they would have a lot of fun and be secure.

As a graduate of Business Administration in the area of organization I think I can join Kidzania in the headquarters if I have the enough experience. I could contribute in new ideas to enter to new markets, in finance, marketing, human resources and accounting. Besides business people also need graduates from pedagogy. The graduates of pedagogy search new ways children could learn more during their experience in Kidzania. They have been implementing new methods for children learn how people with disabilities work. Taking care of the environment as well its part of this amazing park by teaching children to recycle, save water and divide the trash into organic and inorganic.

Kidzania offers an experience of educational development that prepares children to understand and manage their world. Children acquire abilities of the real world, learn about work and the professions, they learn fundaments of finance, like making their own baking account, save money and use a credit card. While children are having fun they also learn social abilities, cooperation and respect.
