VIOLENCE IN SOCIETY

Introduction.

The purpose of this homework is just one thing, show to everybody how is the nivel in aggressiveness in every scope of the society i mean: scope familiar, scholar; at working, with friends and in a relationship, we are exposed to suffer some type of violence. Most of the time the victims don’t know (or they don’t want to know) that they are having a problem and that is the worse that the victims can do because we can’t try or it’s more difficult help someone that have the problem and they don’t want to accept or maybe they don’t want to receive any kind of help because, they are afraid about the consequences it can makes, that in so much cases are positive

Development. First but they don’t know it. I want to start with the definition of violence: It is any kind of human interaction that manifest behaviors or situations that in a disproportionate way can cause , or can try to do so (physical, sexual or psychological) a harm serious to an individual or a community. well , we can see that violence can be to an individual both as a community, the violence have a lot of kinds, places, victims and it is so common that in most of the cases the affected can't see the reality, they always think that is normal and that they deserve it .This problem usually can destroy the self-esteem of the victim and do they become insecure and that is so worrying because this kind of people in a future may be criminals doing another type of violence that affects the society and the problem becomes to repeat, this horrible situation never finished making a story without end.

Types of violence. Like I have said before exist a lot of kinds of violence and they are: 1°.- Domestic Violence, 2°.- Child violence or bulling, 3°.- Violence against women, 4°.- Economic Violence, 5°.- Sexual violence, 6°.- Physical Violence, 7°.-Emotional Violence, 8°.-workplace violence, 9°.- Direct violence( with the intention of kill). All are differents, and have different victims but everyone’s have the same intention: attack the victim. All of them are so extensive, that’s the reason why I want to talk about one in particular: Child Violence or bulling. Bullying is when someone doing or saying try to have power over another person. Bullying is a process of suppression of problems because this child (aggressor is insecure he tries to change that in a wrong way, and do not care about the effects that his acts can make in the affected children.

Some of the ways they bully other people are : calling them names, saying or writing nasty things about them ,inventing rumors and lies, leaving them out of activities, not talking to them, making them feel uncomfortable or scared, hitting or kicking them, or making them do things they don't want to do.

Different Kinds of Bullying: 1. Physical bullying includes any physical contact that would hurt or injure a person like hitting, kicking, punching, etc. Taking something that belongs to someone else and destroying it would also be considered a type of physical bullying in elementary and secondary schools, 30.5% of all bullying is physical. 2. Verbal bullying are: name-calling, making offensive remarks, or joking about a person's religion, gender, family, economic (i mean if they are rich or poor), or the way that they look, the 46.5% of all bullying in schools is the verbal type. Verbal aggression is when a “bully” teases to someone. It can also include a bully making verbal threats of violence or aggression against someone's. 3. Indirect bullying includes: rumors or stories about someone, telling to others lies about the victim and excluding the victim from others groups because the aggressor thought it was funny. Or when the bully orders to others kids do them horrible things to others children. Indirect bullying has 18.5% of all bullying. 4. Social alienation: this happens when a bully excludes someone from a group on purpose. It also includes a bully telling rumors, and also making fun of someone by their differences. 5. Intimidation is when a bully threatens someone else and frightens that person enough to make him or her do what the bully wants. 6. Cyberbullying: is done by sending messages, pictures, or information using electronic media, computers (email & instant messages), or cell phones (text messaging & voicemail). Only 4% is of ciberbullying, Even though this number seems small, the growth of this type of bullying is going up fast because of the spread of technology around the world. That situation occurs more in elementary school than in middle or high school.

Participants of the bulling : 1°.-Aggressor , 2°.-Victim , 3°.-Observers. Now I’m going to describe one by one the participants in the bullying. AGGRESSOR: The aggressors come in all shapes and all sizes. Some are larger or taller than others. Some often get into problems, others are so intelligent but all have in common: someone or something makes them feel insecure and that’s the way because they do it or have those behaviors with the others children. Most of the time people practice “the bullying” because they have a lot of reasons that are incorrect. Some bullies do it to get attention or things, or to make more people afraid of them because they may think that it is the way of being popular and powerful. Others might be jealous of the person they are bullying. They may wants to be cooler than the others .Some bullies may don’t know or don’t understand in how wrong their behavior is, and how it the person bullied feels . They be being bullied. A bully is a person who has never learn to accept responsibility for their behavior, does not want to know of any other way of behaving. VICTIM: They tend to be shy, they often feel obligate to obey, insecure children, maintain an excessive protection of parents, less strong physically, low self-esteem, they don’t have many friends, have depression, they feel reject and so much cases don’t want to report
