1. We now ask all religious sisters and any Marist brother, to please stand to renew your ministries to the Church.
2. Le pedimos a todas nuestras hermanas religiosas y cualquier hermano Marista, que por favor se pongan de pie para renovar sus ministros a la Iglesia.

PAUSE

1. We now ask all our parish ministries: lectors, altar servers, music ministry, hospitality, catechists, extraordinary ministries and all who serve our parish as ministries, to please stand.
2. Ahora le pedimos a todos nuestros ministros: lectores, monaguillos, ministerio musical, hospitalidad, catequistas, ministerio extraordinario, y a todos aquellos que asisten en nuestra parroquia, que por favor se pongan de pie.

We will now do the presentation of the Sacred (seicred) Oils.

Ahora procedemos a la presentación de los Sagrados Óleos.

The use of consecrated oils is a long tradition of the Catholic Church and has been in existence for centuries. From Scripture, we hear the Lord say to Moses, “Take the finest spices… add one gallon of olive oil, and make a sacred anointing (seicred anóintin) oil, and mix like perfume.

El uso de los óleos consagrados, es una larga tradición de la Iglesia Católica, como nos dice la Escritura cuando el Señor se dirigió a Moisés y le dice, “Escoge las mejores plantas aromáticas, y tres litros y medio de aceite de oliva, has con todo esto, el aceite santo de consagrar, de la misma forma que un perfumero prepara sus perfumes.”

The three types of sacred oils signify the work of the Holy Spirit and is symbolizing in that, oil serves to sweeten, to strengthen (strenzden), and to provide flexibility. 

Hay tres tipos de aceites sagrados, los cuales representan la obra del Espíritu Santo simbolizando, que el aceite es servicial, para endulzar… fortalecer… y dar flexibilidad.

1. WE PRESENT THE OIL OF CATECHUMENS—used in Baptism along with water… in the consecration of Churches… (PAUSE) in the blessing of Altars… (PAUSE) and… (PAUSE) in the Ordination of Priests.

PRESENTAMOS EL ÓLEO DE LOS CATUMENADOS—el cual se utiliza en el Bautismo, junto con el agua… en la consagración de Iglesias… en la bendición de altares… y en la Ordenación Sacerdotal.

1. PRESENTING THE HOLY CHRISM “THE OIL OF GLADNESS”—used in Confirmation… in the Consecration of a Bishop… and the Consecration of various (verios) things such as Churches… Chalices… Patens… and Church Bells.
