Homework 1

Objective: on this activity the objective is that we can recognize the verbs on gerund and the verb+infinitive constructions to make a sentences and can complete de exercise of the book.

Procedure:

1) First entered to blackboard.

2) After that read the homework and the instructions.

3) Then made the homework.

4) Finally delivered the homework by blackboard.

Results:

My name is Naomi, I´m 25 years old, and I´m a teacher, I tend to be on the shyside, so I´m considering starting a book club so I can meet some new Friends. I plan to start this club as soon as posible, so e-mail me if you´re interesting.

I just moved here, and I´m looking for some new Friends. I appreciate spending evenings at home cooking and listening to music. People say I tend to be kind of quiet, but I´m fun once you get to know me.

I´m Alex Ramirez, and engineering student at National University. I love biking. Can I suggest starting a bikers meet-up group? I´m considering entering race and therefore I intend to start riding my bike every day. I hope others will join me.

- I prefer a friend of my school because I spend a lot time with her and its more practical.

6. When a friend treats you to lunch, do you enjoy _to go__ (go) to a casual restaurant or a more formal one?

- I prefer a casual restaurant because you don´t need to be elegant and correct to stay at ease.

7. Would you continue __talking__ (talk) to a fried if she never returned your pone calls or answered your e-mails?

- No, I wouldn´t if he or she don´t answer me and I´m the only one who try to talk with her or him.

Conclusion: along this activity I practiced the concepts of the topic and I think as of great significance to the better understanding of the following topics, I learnead a new words of the vocabulary and I really think it will be very important to me.
