JetBlue was one of the air American lines that had earnings during the sharp decrease in trips of air line after the assaults of September 11, 2001. JetBlue turned into one of the most popular air lines of the country, and nowadays it has approximately two billion dollars in the capitalization of market. The financial results were positive for the air line throughout the years 2002-2004, and many analysts and journalists helped to the air line for his success.

In October, 2005, JetBlue announced that his quarterly benefit had fallen from 8,1 million dollars to 2,7 millions, largely due to the costs of fuel. In addition, the air line was fighting against his new plane, the Embraer 190.
