La moda en los 90’
Diap. 1:
Los 90 fue una década de “innovación” en todos los aspectos, desde la música hasta la nueva tecnología, en esta década también ocurrieron muchos de los hecho históricos más importantes de todos los tiempo. Podríamos decir que tuvo una gran diversidad cultural, por ello el tema que voy a tocar hoy será la moda en los 90.
The 90’s was a decade of innovation in all aspects, from music to new tecnology. In this time occurred many historical events, that shaped their future and now the present we know. That’s why I decided to focus on fashion of the 90’s.
Diap. 2:
Los 90 no se caracterizaron por tener un atuendo o estilo especial. Aquí cada uno se vestía como deseaba, según su grupo social, sus gustos o sus ídolos. Mucha gente se vestía igual que cantantes o aristas.
They didn’t have a specific outfit or style. Back then, people dressed as they wanted to, sometimes following the trend of their social groups, or by the influence of an idol. Many people dressed exactly as their favorites singers and actors.
Diap 3:
A diferencia de los 80, se comenzó a usar ropa mucho más sencilla, no muy abultada ni muy extravagante, en algunos casos los chicos hacían ellos mismos su ropa o accesorios. Usualmente la indumentaria consistía en una camisa o polo, un jean y zapatillas semejantes a converse. Los jóvenes solían tatuarse o ponerse piercings.
Unlike the 80’s, clothes turned into much simpler pieces, not so puffed and extravagant. Sometimes young people or teenagers made their own clothing and accesories. Usually an attire consisted in a plain T-shirt, jeans and sneackers, such as the famous brand “Converse”. The youth used to get tattoos or piercings.
Diap 4:
La vestimenta normal de los chicos “grunge” consistía en un polo negro con el nombre de su banda favorita, camisa a cuadros, pantalones desgastados y con huecos y converse.
The regular look of a “grunge” boy was just a black T-shirt with the name of their favorite band in it, a plaid shirt, worn pants wiht holes and converse.
Diap 5:
Las chicas usaban pequeñas faldas y tops o pantalones holgados y polos. Se ponían piercings en el ombligo y orejas. También solían utilizar converse.
Girls used to wear mini-skirts and small tops with baggy pants.
Diap 6:
La moda hip-hop consistía en usar pantalones holgados y caídos, polos anchos, gorras, zapatillas deportivas y anillos y dijes de oro.
Hip-hop trend consisted in wearing big baggy pantd, wide shirts, caps, sneakers and jewelry.
