VICTORIA BECKHAM vs. MARTHA STEWART

Why I chose this 2 persons? Well, I wanted to talk and compare 2 persons which were something similar, as for them, Victoria and Martha, both women, both like fashion, both are celebrities, and both came from nothing, they achieve what they want to. That’s why I chose them, and by investigating them, and their success, I notice that they really are similar, they never give up what they wanted to do, and different opportunities came around life, and they took them, and that’s why they are who they are now.

First, I will start with miss Victoria Beckham, more known as a “Spice Girl”, born in Harlow, Essex, United Kingdom, in 1974. She was a normal girl, with big dreams of being a singer or dancer, always practicing, and casting for singing and dancing opportunities, there’s where she got contacted by the “Spice Girls” in 1994, the most famous girl group in all times, she got the nickname of “Posh Spice”, because of her way of dressing and her class. The group, “Spice Girls”, who sell 75 million discs in their 4 years of acting and performing, made it to be number 1 in 41 countries, in the year of 1998 the group end and all separate, and in that time is where miss Beckham, got married with mr. David Beckham in the year of 1999, in that time David was growing to be one of the best ever football players in the world.

The group came back together in 2007 for one last world tour, they said it was the best for the fans, so they could say goodbye, each of them got a total of $10m. for singing and performing one year. In that year they had a lot of work, a lot of concerts, and companies such as Victoria Secret, sign them for their famous Victoria Secret Fashion Show, in which the top artist sing each year. It’s been called the century 21 “SPICE” era, because the new generations were able to hear again what was good in the 90’s. In the 2012 London Olympic Games, was their last appearance, in the closure of this event, they gave their last performance, sources say that Victoria didn’t want to do it, but David pursue her to do it. This was the end for the famous “Spice Girls”.

Now for the career of her own, she made a lot of money from the “Spice Girls”, and she was intelligent, so she invest it in her own interest, fashion, making a big enterprise of clothing, which she opened with the help of her husband David, called “DVB” (David Victoria Beckham), which was for expensive jeans, with her own designs. Later on, it was for perfumes and more clothing too.

Now in day, she owns her brand “Victoria Beckham”, where she is the chief designer, selling expensive, beautiful, desirable and classy clothes, as the experts say.
