What is Bullying?

Bullying is physical and / or psychological abuse deliberate and constant receiving a child by another or others who behave cruelly with him in order to subdue him and scare him. Bullying involves a continuous repetition of teasing or aggression and can lead to social exclusion of the victim.

Types of Bullying

• Physical: Pushing, kicking, assault with objects, etc.. • Verbal: Insults and name calling, slurs in public, highlighting physical defects, etc.. It is the most common. • Psychological: They undermine the individual's self esteem and foster their sense of fear. • Social: Young aims to isolate the rest of the group and co.

Tips for Parents

Parents should watch for the following, which may be signs that your child is the victim of bullying:

• Changes in behavior of the child. Mood swings.

• Sadness, crying or irritability.

• Nightmares, changes in sleep and / or appetite.

• somatic pains, headaches, stomachaches, vomiting ...

El bullying implica una repetición continuada de las burlas o las agresiones y puede provocar la exclusión social de la víctima.

• Físico: Empujones, patadas, agresiones con objetos, etc. • Verbal: Insultos y apodos, menosprecios en público, resaltar defectos físicos, etc. Es el más habitual. • Psicológico: Minan la autoestima del individuo y fomentan su sensación de temor. • Social: Pretende aislar al joven del resto del grupo y compañeros.
