Norma Jeane Mortenson (Los Angeles, California, USA, June 1, 1926-ibid, August 5, 1962) better known in the art world by his pen name Marilyn Monroe, was one of the most popular actresses in American cinema of the century XX considered as a pop icon and a symbol sexual.1

In 1945, Mortenson began working as a model and later began his career in Hollywood with the stage name Marilyn Monroe.
