RESUMEN

En el mundo el ACV es el principal problema neurológico y en Perú representa la tercera causa más importante de muerte y también el principal motivo de discapacidad. Los enfermeros tenemos mucho por hacer en la prevención, asistencia y rehabilitación de los pacientes y sus familias ante un ACV.Hoy día se puede hacer mucho por estos pacientes, en Perú elACV constituye la tercera causa de muerte con una tendencia ascendente en los próximos años, por lo tanto, es una de las líneas de investigación de importancia dentro de las enfermedades crónicas no transmisibles y que debe ayudar a mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes. El recurso humano es imprescindible, la comprensión de que mucho se puede hacer por los enfermos con la racionalidad necesaria de los recursos debe ser el objetivo de trabajo, sin dejar de utilizar las terapéuticas de avanzadas que se requieran y necesiten cuando sea necesario; la droga milagrosa que cure a estos enfermos no existe, solo la inteligencia y la racionalidad en el uso de los recursos permitirá alcanzar los objetivos propuestos en esta década. Los accidentes cerebrovasculares ocurren a cualquier edad, en ambos sexos y en todas las razas de todos los países. Estos pueden ocurrir aún antes del nacimiento, cuando el feto todavía está en el vientre. En los afroamericanos, los accidentes cerebrovasculares son más comunes y másletales en los adultos jóvenes y de edad media que en cualquier otro grupo étnico o racial

ABSTRACT

The cerebrovascular accident is the leading neurological problem worldwide and it represents the third cause of death and handicap in the Perú. Nurses can play an important role in its prevention, treatment and the rehabilitation process and can help not only the patients, but also their families.In this study we will address the most common complications in these patients through appropriate assessment.Today you can do a lot for these patients, stroke in Peru is the third leading cause of death with an upward trend in the coming years, therefore, is one of the major research lines within the non-communicable chronic diseasesshould help improve the quality of life of patients. The human resource is imperative, the realization that much can be done by patients with rationality necessary resources should be the goal of work, while still using the advanced therapeutic and need to be required as necessary; drug miraculous cure these patients does not exist, only the intelligence and rational use of resources for achieving the goals set out in this decade.
