New York is the most populous of the United States of America.
Since the end of the 19th century, it is one of the main world trade centres and finance around the world. New York is considered a global city, given its influence around the world in the media, in politics, education, entertainment and fashion. The artistic and cultural influence of the city is the strongest in the world. In this city is the headquarters of the Organization of the United Nations, which also makes it an important point of international relations.
The city has many neighborhoods and buildings all over the world. For example, the statue of liberty
«The liberty enlightening the world"known as the statue of liberty, is one of the most famous landmarks of New York, the United States and around the world. It is located on the island of freedom in the South of the island of Manhattan. The statue of liberty was a gift from the French to the Americans in 1886 to commemorate the centenary of the Declaration of independence of the United States and as a sign of friendship between the two Nations. It was inaugurated on October 28, 1886. The statue is the work of French sculptor Auguste Bartholdi Frédéric. On October 15, 1924, the statue was declared a national monument in the United States.
