Browse along and find the requisites for imported goods into the European Union regarding consumer guarantees; take note of those imposed by Sweden and Finland.

  • Basics rules to export between EU, Finland and Sweden
  •  EU law gives consumers the right to a minimum 2-year guarantee. (But in some countries, national law may require you to provide longer guarantees)
  • If the products can’t be like the description or has different qualities your customers can ask for redress under the 'legal guarantee' provided by EU law
  • Your relationship with your customers doesn't end when they buy your product. Even after delivery, you bear some responsibility towards customers if your product turns out to be faulty
  • Packing rules
  • The consumer’s products must be labeled in the national languages of the country of marketing or, if applicable, by signs or instructions or caution universally recognized symbols.
  • Labels must accurately describe the contents of the package.
  • The weight and measures should be reported in the metric system.
  •  If applicable, it must include information for safe use.
  •  Some foods must include the identification of the country of origin.
  •  The CE marking is mandatory in many products.
