EL BAÑO THE BATHROOM
La historia del “cuarto de baño” tiene su comienzo en Escocia hace diez mil años. Aunque el hombre primitivo, consciente de la toxicidad de sus desechos, se instalaba cerca de alguna fuente natural de agua corriente, fueron los habitantes de las islas Oreadas, frente a la costa de Escocia, quienes construyeron los primeros sistemas tipo letrina para alejar de sus hogares los desechos. Una serie de toscas conducciones iban desde las viviendas de piedra hasta los torrentes, lo que permitía satisfacer las necesidades en el interior en vez de tener que salir al exterior.
