The Mode and stereotypes

Every generation identifies for certain characteristics, in the way of dressing and of behaving, these differences appear for the environment in which it is lived in this instant, these particularities that are generalized in the way, can name as "stereotypes"

In if the stereotype, it is to take certain features of an object or person in order to improve the social relations, these they can be taken by economic ends(purposes) by the advertising, to offer physical and psychological features of some prominent figures, presenting them as models to continuing and using to introduce products, ideas, conducts and habits. This one is one of the reasons for those that frequently in the propagandas it is possible to observe to actors, singers, sportsmen; offering different products.

The mass media, specially the advertising of the television and the cinema, owe his great popularity to the indirect utilization of certain images, which the best promote like. Good example of this is to remember the big heroes of the screen, which generally are high, strong, of clear eyes and the most quoted actresses are those of “better body "; it is say the thin ones, of big chests etc. But much is not spoken about the real beauty; of the interior beauty.

This way the major persons leak out stereotypes on the femininity and the masculinity, the racism, the socioeconomic discrimination, the cultural, religious, academic values, all that in order to perpetuate the power in certain features.
