Personal Values And Decision-making.

Here I am going to talk about how I learn about how to treat with ethical dilemmas on my life, when I was young my mother and father taught me what is right and what it’s wrong, so since then I always get situations that I need to think if it’s right or not.

Here now I’m go to talk about a little about some definitions according to this essay.

Ethics according to the oxford dictionary is “moral principles that govern a person’s behavior or the conducting of an activity”.

A dilemma according to the Oxford dictionary is “a situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives, especially equally undesirable ones”.

So Ethics Dilemmas will be when you use your moral principles in a situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives that it’s about a person behavior.

The ethical dilemmas always are present on our lives, so this time are the time when the people take the good way or the bad way, this decisions they made get influence by their parents when they were little, also by the environment in they live, if someone live on an environment that is so conflictive and without education, the probability that this person takes bad decisions are big ones.

The core values I choose Love and Success, why I choose two ones? The first one I choose one is love, I choose Love because I always think love can move the world, thinking on a mother that she can do anything because of the love for her children, and it’s the more important thing to me because with love I feel happy and safe.

Then I choose Success why is that? because I think that if success in the only thing I want that is my career I be happy with that besides the money I can do or I can earn I will be happy only if I success in the thing that I love to do, programming.

So how these two core values can help to solve ethical dilemmas? First of all how I mention before the ethical dilemmas and decisions we make right decisions or bad decisions are influenced by the family when you are little, so when you receive love when you was young the probabilities that you have better decisions are bigger.

And Success I choose these one and help with the ethical dilemmas because when you are a success person or you get success on your life you don’t have the necessity of trying other ways to get something.

My own code of ethics is basically founded on what my parents taught me when I was little so every decision I make I always think if it’s right or not.

When I was little I remember that sometimes I want something that I couldn’t have because of different situations, so maybe I could do something to get that, the thing that I wanted but maybe it could be wrong, when I was little maybe I do wrong things but most of the decisions I make were good decisions that’s why I am here studying a degree, but not also a degree also a double degree.
