Waiter: excellent, lady ,I’ll show you to your table
Waiter: what Would you like to drink? Or would you like a drink while you look at the menu? ( ¿Te gustaría tomar algo mientras lees el menú?)
Client: can I see the wine list? Thanks I’ll have a bottle of White wine please and a water or Yes, I’ll have a beer please. (No hace falta utilizar la manera más formal ‘I would like’ porque estás pidiendo algo en un restaurante.)
Luego, él te dejará mirar el menú; volverá y te preguntará…
Waiter: Can I take your order..? (¿Puedo tomar nota?)
Client: Yes, for a starter I’ll have tomato soup, and main course steak and chips.
Waiter: and how would you like the steak lady… rare, medium or well done?( y como le gustaria el bistec señorita, poco hecho , en sup unto o muy hecho)
Client: médium, please
Waiter:( pasado 5 minutos el camarero vueve y prgunta) everything ok? ( todo bien?)
Client: yes delicious thanks
Waiter: Would you like dessert? ¿Quieres postre (y después si quieres café: Do you want coffee?)
Waiter: would you like coffee?
Client: no, thanks but my friend want a cappuccino
Cuando quieras irte pides la cuenta…
Client: Can I have the bill please? La cuenta por favor.
Waiter: certainly… one momento lady
Client: can i pay by credit card?
Waiter: yes, of course
Client: is service included?
Waiter: yes, lady
Client: good bye, thank you very much
‘a tip’.
