Yo soy François Piernaar, Nací el 2 de enero de 1967. Soy un ex jugador sudafricano de rugby, me desempeñe con los Sprinboks durante 3 años, liderando la selección en el año 1995, convirtiéndonos en campeones del mundial de rugby del mismo año.

Les voy a contar mas a detalle sobre mi vida, soy el mayor de 4 hermanos, mis padres eran de origen neerlandés, del grupo étnico de los bóeres que se asentó en Sudáfrica.

Después de completar la escuela secundaria de San Petersburgo, obtuve una beca deportiva para la Universidad Rand Afrikáans, donde estudié Derecho, no era lo que me apasionaba, sinceramente esa carrera nunca me gusto, pero debido a la falta económica de mí familia, opte por estudiar. Me forme deportivamente en la Golden Lions, equipo de rugby con sede en Johannesburgo en 1989. En 1993, me convertí en el capitán de los Golden Lions, con los que ganamos 3 copas, la Super 10, Currie Cup y la Lion cup. En 1995, tomé la decisión de dejar la capitanía de los Golden Lions, y empecé a jugar con los Sprinboks como ala, me convertí en el jugador más importante, llevando al equipo a la victoria en el Mundial de Rugby en el mismo año. Pero este triunfo significó más que un triunfo, significo la unión de 43 millones de sudafricanos, después de años de discriminación de ambas razas. Pero no todo lo que brilla es oro, aunque me dieron bastantes reconocimientos, aunque logramos unir a un país, hubo 3 intentos de asesinatos en mi contra, y esto causo que el entrenador del equipo André Markgaaff me expulsara del equipo por supuesto fraude, y montaje frente a estos casos.
