Research on Germany

Germany has selected to apply macroeconomic concepts. The geographical location of Germany is west-central Europe.   In July 2017, the estimated population of Germany was 80,594,017.  It is a second largest populous country in Europe. The birth rate in Germany was 8.6 births per 1000 population and death rate was 11.7 per 1000 population in July 2017. The 91.5% are German ethnic groups and 2.4% are Turkish. German is the official language of Germany.  In 2017, the population growth rate was -0.16%. The Roman Catholic has 29% religion contribution in Germany, while 36% is a member of unrecorded religion groups. The age structure of Germany recognize 0-14 years have 12.82% ratio, 15-14 years have 10.09%, 25-54 years have 40.45%, 55-64 years have 14.58%, and 22% are above 65 years. Around 4.9% of GDP contribution recognized education expenditures. The 99% of the rural population received improved system of sanitation.  In 2013, the total fertility rate was 1.4% and higher expectancy rate (Who.int, 2018).   Is important to mention that Germany has 41,936.06 USD GDP per capita in 2016.  The foreign demand for household consumption expanded. That’s why the Germany economy grew a seasonally-adjusted 0.6 percent on quarter in the three months to December of 2017.  The Eurozone economic malaise led to challenges in the Germany for growth.  Furthermore, lack of political freedom limits the growth of country, whereas firms face restriction to increase its productions.

  Germany is more advanced in the production of chemical industry, food and beverages, and heavy machinery. The major imports of Germany are electric equipment, pharmaceuticals, metals, vehicles, and data processing equipment. The main exports of Germany are transport equipment, textiles, chemicals, and plastic products. The main export partner of Germany is the U.S contributes 8.9%. The GDP purchasing power parity was $4.15 trillion in 2017.The national currency of Germany is euro. The unemployment rate is 7.2% and 1.6% was inflation rate in 2017 (Cia.gov, 2018).

The government type of Germany is a Federal parliamentary republic.   Germany has established partnership and member of IMF. Germany is a member of European Union. At last, Germany is a member of World Bank and promotes economic and human development, reduces poverty as well as shared prosperity. Germany works with Word banks to manage economic developments.
