Book Review Parvana trip

The book's journey Parvana that the second in a series of 4 books that can be read separately and in disarray without any problems, this book is the author Deborah Ellis (born August 7, 1960) is a Canadian writer. Born in Cochrane, Ontario. Ellis decided to start writing when she was between 11-12 years old. As he grew, his work and his writing were made ​​primarily through travel and talk to others who have problems and document the main things. She began writing her first book, The Breadwinner, some time later.

Ellis is a very active anti-war activist. He traveled to Pakistan in 1997 to help an Afghan refugee camp; from these interviews she wrote the four-part series including The Breadwinner, a book about a girl named Parvana's journey Parvana among other books by this author, but this review will discuss the book entitled trip Parvana.

Parvana is an Afghan girl who just lost her father due to the war there in that country, the book begins with Parvana in the tomb of his father and that a man trying to console arrives and invites her to stay at home some rest Parvana accepted but only for a while because the aim of Parvana was to find the rest of his family was lost, his mother his brother and sister. Parvana came to the man's house and initially wanted to stay and be adopted by the family but one of the daughters of man Parvana woke in the middle of the night and told him that the Taliban were searching for her and decides to go in search Parvana of his family. Parvana traveling through the desert on the way to a village devastated by bombs in which he hears whining in a destroyed house and finds a baby who decides to call Hassan and cares and takes care of him and takes him to his journey in search of his family reminded Parvana a good friend who had and decides to send platicándole how he felt and who knew letters. After long time of traveling both are tired and decide to rest in a cave where they found abandoned a wounded child and called asif and accompanies them on the journey. After a long time within leila a girl who is orphaned by the destruction of their home because of the bombs and the 4 follows the journey and reach a refugee village which are supposed to be the family of Parvana but there face harsh living conditions and leila died in an unfortunate accident and Parvana finally finds his family but now they face an uncertain future in a hostile Afghanistan.

The story unfolds in Afghanistan and aims to show readers living situations children and generally people who are in this country during the war, the same author went to these areas to see what life was there and to write his book. This book begins where the book bread war early in the book to avoid problems it poses as man calls himself kassem.

The characters are Parvana as the main character in the story who was a brave girl and a fighter that despite everything that had happened did not lose its main objective, Hassan he drinks while not say anything at first to Parvana not feel alone, asif was a child who had suffered much and sometimes you could tell fearful, and finally leila it was a very good girl who was orphaned because their house was destroyed.
