Title: Global warming

Introduction:

Crude Impact

This film is about the end of the Oil Age and the potential consequences, also what happens since the discovery of oil began to be used in excess and how it has reached a point of no return in terms of all the activities of the global economy.

Inconvenient Truth

This movie is about a former candidate for president of the United States giving a talk about the concern of the destruction that is causing global warming and the horrible future that awaits us if this problem is not treated in time.

Development:

This two movies talk about the importance of taking care of our planet but in different aspects.

In the Inconvenient Truth talks about how there are many scientific studies that confirm that the upper layer of the sea has warmed and that's what produces stronger hurricanes and give an example of how Hurricane Katrina ended with many lives.

Also tells us that global warming has caused rains in the last 100 years have increased, but this does not happen everywhere in the world and, poe that some parts of the world have suffered from drought.

There are parts of the world where millions of people suffer from malnutrition and many children die every day.

Lake Chad, which was the sixth in the world, has lost 29% of what it was and that has led to the destruction of fisheries, water shortages and crop failures.

Finally the movie talks about possible changes such as mass extinction of species, coastal flooding by the melting of the polar ice caps, epidemics of infectious diseases and the destruction of coral reefs and how bad it might melt the glaciers, including the Himalayan glaciers, as it is the most affected by global warming, are the source of drinking water for more than 40% of the world population. In the next 50 years, this huge portion of humanity may have a severe shortage of drinking water and food shortages due to lack of water.

Unlike this film, Crude Impact is based more on the oil problem, and its production, especially in the shady business of large companies operating in poor countries and the mechanisms through which the great powers dominate the production and flow of oil, as a key tool to control the economy and the military and says this is an important part of the lost Oil: but it also shows that we are so important that society itself pressed constantly increasing consumption of all kinds, and we have a bad idea that objects possess and consume more energy, we bring good results

It also discusses the geopolitical possible for the coming years, which is spoken in a collision between the U.S. on one hand, as the dominant power in decline, and clinging at all costs
