Ciudad de Guanajuato: el Festival Internacional Cervantino.

The Spanish writer Miguel de Cervantes is the great inspiration of one of the most important theater festivals in Latin America, which is held every year in the city of Guanajuato: the Cervantino International Festival. A new edition of this theatrical event takes place every October, which has its origins in the 1950s. Today it attracts Mexican and foreign theater lovers. In fact, this 2019 the guest country is Canada.

This festival is considered one of the most important cultural events in Mexico because interesting and diverse novelties are included, as well as extensive programming.
If the organizers of the Cervantino International Festival boast of something, they have managed to combine theater, music, literature, audiovisual arts and dance. Thus, in addition to the works signed by Cervantes, this year, you can choose between the Japanese group Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, the Spanish dancer Sara Baras or the German DJs Electric Indigo and DJ Resom. There will also be opera, jazz, urban music, break dance, cinema and various workshops aimed at both children and adults.

The events most demanded by the public are those scheduled at the Alhóndiga de Granaditas Esplanade, especially the inauguration and closing.
The expectation is such that people spend the night in line to buy tickets, as if it were the concert of a mega rock star. Another appointment that soon runs out of fertilizers is classical music concerts in Valencia. However, in total there are more than 60 thousand tickets on sale.
