PREGUNTAS

  1. Not everything is true (5 points)

  1. Choose a vitamin or health supplement advertised in magazines, television, newspapers, etc.

Vitamin B1

  1. Research about it on the Internet or in drugstores:  list the ingredients, benefits, etc.

What is it?

Thiamine is a vitamin, also called vitamin B1. Vitamin B1 is found in many foods like yeast, cereal grains, beans, walnuts and meat. It is often used in combination with other B vitamins and is found in many vitamin B complex products. The vitamin B complex usually includes vitamin B1 (thiamine), vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B3 (niacin / niacinamide), Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) and folic acid. However, some products do not contain all of these ingredients and some may include others, such as biotin, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), choline bitartrate and inositol.

People take thiamine for diseases caused by a low level of thiamine (thiamine deficiency syndromes), including beriberi and inflammation of the nerves that are outside the brain (peripheral neuritis). This disease is associated with pregnancy or with a vitamin deficiency disease called pellagra.

Thiamine is also used for digestive problems, including lack of appetite, ulcerative colitis and chronic diarrhea.

Thiamine is also used for AIDS and to strengthen the immune system, for diabetic pain, heart disease, alcoholism, aging, for a type of brain damage called cerebellar syndrome, for mouth ulcers, vision problems Such as cataracts and glaucoma, for motion sickness and to improve sports performance. It is also used for the prevention of cervical cancer and to prevent the progression of kidney disease in patients with type 2 diabetes.

Some people use thiamine to maintain a positive mental attitude; To increase learning capacity; To increase energy; To fight against stress; And to prevent memory loss, including Alzheimer's disease.

Health care providers give thiamine injections for a memory disorder called Wernicke's encephalopathy syndrome, for other thiamine deficiency syndromes in critically ill patients, for alcohol withdrawal and for coma.

  1. Nothing better than going to the museum on those rainy days! When the day is sunny the last thing you want to do is go to a museum, so the best time is to go when it rains, it is an activity that will take you several hours and keep you entertained, even to go with kids.
  2. Going to the mall is a great idea, you always have to bring some gift to return from the holidays, why not take advantage of rainy days? In addition there are usually activities for the whole family, while you have coffee, your children can play in a playground.
  3. Ufff this is my favorite, there is nothing better than going to the movies on a rainy day and if that accompanies you with a dinner may be the perfect plan.
  4. If you were not careful and did not take any books, this plan can be accompanied by a visit to the bookstore and a coffee shop, the equation would be: a good coffee + a good book + rain = perfect plan to spend the afternoon.
  5. Whether on a family holiday, with a couple or with a friend, the board game is a good option to spend an afternoon, a good game of TEG, Basket, Race of mind, Monopoly or whatever your preference will make you spend a while Very nice, and if you do not have any board games, you can install one on your tablet.

Even a Questioned game, using only their phones, can mean several hours of fun.
